spoiled
I do worry, however, that if this forecasted doom bird flu ever hits these shores, I'll be fucked. I'm quite susceptible to colds. Eeps! Better start my super smoothie regimen again!
It's back to my usual work schedule and I couldn't be more thrilled about that! My horrid stint in features really made me appreciate my lot in news. And I've been paying the price with a lot of late nights. But I don't even mind, for I have my mornings back! Glorious, GLORIOUS mornings! Mmmm. I am spoiled, I admit it.
Yesterday I actually got BORED and left the house early to do some errands! Yeah, seriously. Crazy! I hiked all the way to the doctor's in the rain and gale force winds, only to discover it was a public holiday and thus closed. I stopped by the ghetto grocery store on the way back and stocked up on pineapples and mushrooms and other exotic produce.
Today I've watched a very ghetto episode of Sally Jesse, involving 'shocking teen sex secrets' in which one portly 17-year-old beauty revealed her bisexuality to her mum and introduced her new lady lover... another gem in a crazy mullet and matching track suit. Only to have the tables turn when her mum's secret lady lover bounced into the room, DANCING and throwing roses! Haahahaha. Brilliant.
Maybe I'll cook.
What else? Nothing much. Was supposed to go to a casino with work on Friday, but didn't make it. Went to the cinema and a slap-up meal instead. And then there was more work during the weekend. Dot to dot played an outdoor festival on Saturday, but I was too busy rewriting football stories to attend. Bah. Joined them later for a few drinks, but it ended up being an early night in the end, which I was secretly happy about as I've been knackered. Sunday morning was glorious and lazy, as I didn't have to go to work until 3pm. Mmmmm.
And oh yes... season two LOST. Mmmmmm.
